Who we are
Érablière Charbonneau is a family business located at 45 Chemin du Sous-Bois, Mont-Saint-Grégoire (QC), Canada. This website is operated by Érablière Charbonneau, which acts as the controller of your personal information within the meaning of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25 / CQLR, c. P-39.1).
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to your requests and improve your experience. Depending on how you interact with the site:
- Contact or booking form: name, email, phone, message, dates and number of guests.
- Newsletter: email address.
- Online shop: managed by our partner UEAT. Payments and delivery addresses are handled directly by UEAT under its own policy.
- Technical data: anonymized IP address, browser type, pages visited, visit duration, visit source. Collected only if you consent via the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- Respond to your requests (booking, wedding, event, allergies).
- Send you our newsletter, only with your explicit consent.
- Measure the site's audience and improve how it works.
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We never sell your information and do not use it for automated third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Your information is shared only with the providers essential to running our business, and always under a confidentiality agreement:
- UEAT: online ordering platform for the shop.
- Site host: Vercel (United States), for the technical delivery of the site.
- Analytics tools: only if you consent (anonymized statistics).
No other sharing. No data broker, no resale, no advertising profiling.
How long we keep it
- Form requests: kept for 3 years from the last exchange.
- Newsletter sign-up: until you unsubscribe.
- Accounting data (shop orders): 6 years, to meet tax obligations.
- Anonymized technical data: 13 months maximum.
Your rights
Under Law 25, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request its correction if it is inaccurate.
- Request its deletion (subject to legal obligations).
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Request the portability of your information to another provider.
- File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Cookies
We use a limited number of cookies:
- Essential: required for the site to work (preferences, cart). Do not require consent.
